STILLS got together in 2011 at a party at Saint Martins college of Art – tired of the endless stream of guitar bands he had been playing in Felix decided to form a hybrid parts – think: Massive Attack / Magnetic Man of his influences. Free of the constraints of a typical bands line up – and now free to concentrate on his array of analogue synths, STILLS were to be a mash up of different sounds Andree had been studying at St Martins a few years back alongside Tom Vek – and developed her song writing talents to match Felix’s musicianship and production skills. First things – start as they mean to go on, so STILLS where fortunate enough to have their initial track (UR Mine) remixed by non other than Groove Armada. Following this Tom Findlay (one half of GA) offered up a second remix of UR Mine.
