Having to grow up quickly Tanya helped raise her two younger sisters, both of whom have disabilities when her mother helped them leave behind a very bad home life. Having spent time in shelters Tanya say’s she understands and respects what it means to be part of a community.
Tanya Brags however that her sisters are very talented girls who “Sing like Angels”, and they beat her to the recording studio as kids donating their beautiful voices to a Thames Valley Children’s Centre Commercial.

Tanya loved singing in her schools’ chamber choirs and performing in her high school musical. She says that she can’t get enough of the beautiful rush that comes when people bring their voices together creating magical harmonies.
Tanya remembers the exact moment she truly fell in love with country music. She was 12 years old on a trip to South Carolina and heard a song called “John Deer Green”. She says it was that song that made her understand that song writing was story telling “beautified”.
