Strange Anthem is a solo artist named Daniel Laverack out of Melbourne Australia. His song combines a dance rock fusion, with metal, hip hop and trance undertones. Strange anthem’s wide array of influences come from New Order, Soundgarden, Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, Beastie Boys, The Metallica, Faith No More and The Pet Shop Boys.
He considers his music to be an experiment he’s sharing that charts his life experiences, and other people he’s observed. These experiences ranging from love to loathing. He has a story to tell, and wants to connect with people through his music.
In Daniel’s words, “The sound is all about power, groove and atmosphere wrapped up in an honest drama-pathos. It takes you through a story that possesses layers of meaning that’s open to interpretation, there’s something personal for everyone to draw from.”
