Javier Loja aka Silent J is an up and coming rapper in New York. He’s always had a passion for music, now his dreams are becoming a reality as he finally released his debut mixtape entitled ‘SILENTAPE’, at the age of 16 only! Silent J is the epitome of “indie”, he simply used what he had in hand and his talent to create this mixtape. It was all recorded and edited in his bedroom.
Right away you can tell that Silent J has a unique flow. It’s smooth and seems to come real easy, that’s not something you can teach. For a new artist, he has an old school sound, which I’m always a fan of. This is the best debut mixtape I’ve heard in a while, and it’s from a 16 year old. There’s no doubt, the future’s bright for Silent J!
