Independent Music Promotions is dedicated to promoting up and coming indie artists, as well as providing tools to succeed in a difficult industry. A great resource they offer for indie musicians is the book “Your Band Is A Virus” of which is jam packed with tips of the trade and is a viral marketing guide to success.

IMP is also now offering online marketing campaigns and publicity blasts for independent bands and artists of all genres. Campaigns will be strictly based on GAINING PRESS (reviews, interviews, features, video publicity, blog posts) for chosen bands. Only high quality artists will be accepted. These campaigns, unlike what many other publicists offer, have guarantees, as a lot of research has been put into finding efficient independent music review sources and building relationships. IMP makes sure that each artist gets more than their money’s worth, and makes sure that every artist they work with gets press – period. IMP operates with the goal of helping artists further themselves and do everything on a trust-based grassroots level.

Our new MuzicNotez CHAMP Headstone, has been crowned! We have new music, members and our new NotezWorthy Ratings system to help reward our best music.

HEADSTONE won the MuzicNotez Battles CHAMPIONSHIP! It was a great battle, with Chance Primo giving them a run for there money. We’re very proud to have Headstone represent us as our latest battles champ. They won with there track featured below called “Booty Love”, they have a very unique sound, check it out!

	Andrew David Weber The First’s new album is called “Sorry I’m Late”. This album is exactly the reason I love independent music, and why we created MuzicNotez to highlight new music such as his. He’s the writer, vocals, guitar, piano, drums and more. The album ranges from heartfelt acoustics’ to even busten’ a line in a couple of songs with Number 2wo and Sane G. Andrew’s an extremely gifted musician and writer, we have no doubts that he’ll continue to rise to the top! Singing into a microphone and learning to play an instrument and learning to do your craft, that’s the most important thing for people to do. It’s not about being perfect. It’s not about sounding absolutely correct. It’s not about what goes on in a computer. It’s about what goes on in here (your heart) and what goes on here (your head)… Long live rock ‘n’ roll!” – Dave Grohl

This is what Dave Grohl (lead singer of the Foo Fighters/previously Nirvana’s drummer) said in the Foo Fighters acceptance speech for his 5th grammy of the 2012 Grammys, best rock performance for “Walk”. As a musician… and as a part of MuzicNotez, a business known for promoting up and coming independent musicians, I love this! He could not be more right, and it’s about time somebody called it out.

This is exactly why I love independent music so much, it’s raw, not overproduced or influenced by studios or labels. It’s musicians with a love for music, and a dream to be heard. This quote should be a huge influence for all musicians, you don’t need to be a part of a huge label or fancy studio, just need to write from the soul and sing from the heart!

Garage bands and home studios are the foundation of independent music, and that’s exactly how the Foo Fighters recorded there latest and 7th album “Wasting Light”. Dave Grohl said: “I just thought, F### it! Let’s record it in my garage.”, I think that’s bad-ass and a real down to earth element of such a huge star. A real refreshing thing to hear in today’s sometimes frustrating music industry and hopefully a good sign of things to come!

Anyma has won the WildCard Battle and will receive the final spot in the Championship Battle! It was a well fought battle but once Anyma took the lead it was never given up again. Anyma has even knocked out last years MuzicNotez Battles champ Andrew David Weber, so this year we will have our 3rd new MuzicNotez Champ!

Anyma is a fusion of electronic music combined with Ethnic voices, African & Latin percussions and new wave influences. Ghislain Caya, the multi-instrumentalist artist, producer, performer, songwriter, programmer, arranger and mixer is the mastermind behind it all.
