Ellen Fischerova

  • MuzicNotez: First off, it’s an honor to be doing this interview with you Ellen, thanks for taking the time to sit down with us.

What motivated you to start creating music? What age did you begin?

    • Ellen Fischerova: Well, I started studying music when I was a little girl. After a quite long break, I decided to continue in Italy.

What motivates me? I just have to do it. It comes naturally and I do not feel complete without performing. I started creating my own music this year and I hope it is not the last one.
  • MuzicNotez: Who were your musical influences, idols, or bands growing up that have helped mold you into the musician you are today? Or helped mold the music that you create?
    • Ellen: I remember I listened to Avril Lavigne, Green Day, when I was younger. Now, I like Beyoncé, Ludovico Einaudi.
  • MuzicNotez: What’s the ultimate goal you want your music to achieve, or for you to achieve in your career as a musician? Any particular message you wish to send?
    • Ellen: I do not limit myself in achievements. I just would love to do great job and produce music that will satisfy me – musically, as well as personally. The best satisfaction are people, who follow / support you, come to your events and listen to your music.
  • MuzicNotez: What’s the greatest concert you’ve ever been to or performed?
    • Ellen: I really enjoyed performin with a poet, Filippo Matta. Piano music and poetry together is something new, something interesting and emotional. People started crying during our show.
  • MuzicNotez: You recently wrote your first original song, what do you call it, and what was the inspiration?
    • Ellen: Yes, the song is Sunrise in Milan. It is inspired by Milan, a city in Italy and its mornings.

  • MuzicNotez: You’re currently working on your first full album, any timeline for its release yet? How’s it going thus far?
    • Ellen: I would love to finish it by the end of this year. I wrote some music, got lyrics from other musicians. I am trying to figure out the order and would love to improve my singing skills, so I would be able to sing the songs by myself.
  • MuzicNotez: You have been playing piano since you were six years old, and now you’re learning to perfect your craft of singing. Can we expect to hear your vocals on the upcoming album?
    • Ellen: I hope so.
  • MuzicNotez: You have been touring around Italy and the Czech Republic, how would you describe your live performances? How would you like the audience to feel when hearing you?
    • Ellen: I would like people to feel relaxed and happy. I would love people looking forward to the performances, be curious what is going to be during the next show. I would love to also add more elements and people performing with me. I would love to also play modern, contemporary music with orchestra.
  • MuzicNotez: Anything else you wish to say about yourself or your music? Any message for your fans?
    • Ellen: Yes, I would love to thank everybody, who supports me. I appreciate it. And I will be pleased if people also follow me on my social media, so they can check news and information about my performances and CD.
