MuzicNotez Crew: First off, it’s an honor to be doing this interview with you, thanks for taking the time to sit down with us.
What motivated you to start creating music? What age did you begin?
LC Da GhostRider: I started round the age 13. And my motivation “jay-z hard knock life vol 2 ‘it’s like that’ song!!!! I heard that and wanted to rap. Jay had this word play on there that was crazy, add kid Capri and you got a motivational track for any artist or at least me.
MuzicNotez Crew: Who were your musical influences, idols, or bands growing up that have helped mold you into the musician you are today? Or helped mold the music that you create?
LC Da GhostRider: Clearly Jay-z, and since I’m from Cleveland St.Clair you have to add bone in there, the lox, Dipset, 50 cent, Paul wall and chamillionaire, etc pretty much just good music.
MuzicNotez Crew: What’s the greatest concert you’ve ever been to or performed?
LC Da GhostRider: The greatest show I ever did would have to be my first, I was 14 and I opened up for scarface and his group ag2ake at peabodys down under. That’s a rush you only get once in your life. (lol)
MuzicNotez Crew: What’s the ultimate goal you want your music to achieve, or for you to achieve in your career as a musician? Any particular message you wish to send?
LC Da GhostRider: I want to be inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame and everything that comes with it! If you can reach that goal your one of the best at music in your field of music. As far as a message I just want for people 2 be them selves and stay true!
MuzicNotez Crew: You just completed the EST 19xx House Arrest Tour with Ray Jr and Dub O, what was that experience like?
LC Da GhostRider: When I speak on that I always thank my brother Dame and ray for helping put that play together and giving me a chance. But the house arrest tour was dope! It’s always good to meet and get new fans, and to see the love Ray, Dub, tezo and their whole camp gets is amazing and I think those guys for letting me be a part of that.
MuzicNotez Crew: You’re also on the MMG’s Stalley No Place Like Home Tour, what’s your favorite part about constantly touring? Any unique pre-show traditions?
LC Da GhostRider: If you want something bad enough you’ll work as hard as you have to, to make it happen, so staying on the road doing shows is nothing cause this is what I want to do. Pre-game I just get in my zone and chase that rush from my first show (lol)
MuzicNotez Crew: Your latest track is ‘Girls Who Smoke Weed (That’s Deep)’ ft. Dub O. What was the production of this track like?
LC Da GhostRider: That’s a ko music group track, Sheldon ‘ric flair’ Zanders sent me that beat at like 5am. I heard it that morning sent it to Dub-O then we went in knock it out a few days after that.
MuzicNotez Crew: Working on anything else new? What can we expect from you in the future?
LC Da GhostRider: Most def, I got the Outerspace music mixtape dropping in June and then I got the newprint EP! Those two projects we’re hoping will set in motion the movie I call. ‘Me on my international quest for world greatness’ (lol)
MuzicNotez Crew: Anything else you wish to say about yourself or your music? Any message for your fans?
LC Da GhostRider: Yeah every1 go check out the new track. “Girls who smoke weed” look out for ‘Outerspace music’ and go download the. ‘Paid in Full’ and ‘real muzik’ mixtape and just love life!!!
