What We're All About
- Band Name: Arise In Stability
- Genre: Metal
- About Us & History: Arise in Stability is a Japanese Progressive metal band from Yokohama, Kanagawa prefecture. They formed in 2004 around Masayoshi Onodera(Guitar). After having changed members several times, they had the current five piece in 2008. They released a full length album (“the future that amnesiac draws”) from Last fort records in April, 2010, and they parted in the supplementary CD of Metal Hammer magazine (UK) in October 2011. Now metal and hardcore scenes in all over Japan admire Arise in Stability as "Technical progressive metalcore madness" that is like nothing else.
As influenced by King Crimson, Meshuggah, Between the buried and me, Dream Theater, Cynic etc., Arise in Stability has authentically unique sounds that have progressiveness, aggression, and dramas finely structured by using highly developed technique, irregular times and compound times. And another notable point is that their lyrics are all Japanese and have many metaphors in unrealistic world-views which draw audience who can understand Japanese into twilight zone with their sounds.
Having several tours in Japan, they have ever shared stages with many famous overseas bands - Between the buried and me, Animals as Leaders, Underoath, Veil of Maya, The red chord, The Acacia Strain, Job for a cowboy, For the Fallen Dreams, Winds of Plague, XIBALBA, Raging Speedhorn, Black Breath etc.
They stop performing in February 2012 for a year because Hiroshi Mizuno (Bass) will go to Canada. While his absence, they will prepare to write songs for next album.
