- About & History: Young Roach (Jordan York) made his way into the hip hop and entertainment world with a smile. His fresh approach allowed him to stick out from other artists. After only a year of pursuing this life path seriously, he has made impressive headway in the entertainment industry. Aside from setting up east and west coast touring venues, performing at various local hip hop venues, appearing on radio shows (105.9 The X, 92.1 The Hip Hop Meltdown.), he has helped to establish his own record label (Zu Ken Entertainment LLC.) and production team. Young Roach has been doing various interviews with different newspapers and magazines, Rolling Out Magazine and Steel City Weekly being the most recent. He also believes in giving his time to his community, volunteering to perform for local schools and fundraisers. Young Roach has been involved in Toys for Tots as well. He has recently been affiliated with Wiz Khalifa’s “Taylor Gang”, as he and other artists from the group work to produce a mixtape together. Quite a feat for a young man just approaching his 21st birthday. His new single which has been making noise in the local club circuit "Steel City Kush" will also be making its way to the radio. Young Roach will be in your stereos and iPods soon enough, look out for his new music.
