Best known for her time with the group Heart, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Ann Wilson has released her second solo EP. It’s being released through Rounder Records and is called ‘The Ann Wilson Thing! #2 – Focus’. The EP has 4 tracks including the live Peter Gabriel cover ‘don’t give up’ and Jimi Hendrix cover ‘manic depression’. The other two tracks are original and co-written by Ann Wilson. The folk inspired ‘fighten fer life’ and the bluesier track ‘anguish’.
A staple to any Ann Wilson track is her soaring vocals, and you’ll get a ton of that packed in to this 4-track EP! The covers she pays respect to the legends, while completely making it her own. This release is another hit in what has been a legendary career in her own right. Check it out below!
