  • MuzicNotez: First off, it’s an honor to be doing this interview with you Ashley, thanks for taking the time to sit down with us.

What motivated you to start creating music? What age did you begin?

    • Ashley J: Thank you so much for having me. It’s a pleasure to be here!

I always loved the way music made me feel. How it made me react to the situation around me and present. And even though I loved the music around me, I wasn’t grasping exactly what I wanted to hear. So I decided to create my own music around 8.

  • MuzicNotez: Who were your musical influences, idols, or bands growing up that have helped mold you into the musician you are today? Or helped mold the music that you create?
    • Ashley J: I’ve always adored Artists like Johnny Cash, Michael Jackson, Celine Dion and Dolly Parton. They’ve taught me so much about feelings, emotions, and writing style that I often use and think on when writing.
  • MuzicNotez: What’s the ultimate goal you want your music to achieve, or for you to achieve in your career as a musician? Any particular message you wish to send?
    • Ashley J: I want my music to impact people. To reach them in a way that they know they have someone who relates to them and had a message they want to say and feel. Music is one of the only places in the world where I feel like I fit in. And I want to thrive in it.
  • MuzicNotez: What’s the greatest concert you’ve ever been to or performed?
    • Ashley J: My favorite concert was a Nelson Concert when I was a kid. My first concert actually. That is when I realized I wanted to perform and be in music.
