  • MuzicNotez: First off, it’s an honor to be doing this interview with you Alicia, thanks for taking the time to sit down with us.
    What motivated you to start creating music? What age did you begin?

    • Alicia G: Ever since I was a little girl I’ve been performing on stage which I have always loved. At the age of 13 is when I started taking opera license along with piano including training and acting dancing modeling gymnastics and cheerleading. What motivates me to create music is the joy that it brings to people at the end of the day I love to see someone smile.
  • MuzicNotez: Who were your musical influences, idols, or bands growing up that have helped mold you into the musician you are today? Or helped mold the music that you create?
    • Alicia G: Seeing my whole family has always been music industry I grew up around it. My grandfather used to play in a 12 piece orchestra that had a great big band sound which I loved. My father supported his way to college playing the drums in a rock band was also very inspiring. Besides for my family I would have to say the influences of Eminem his music always tells a great story and is never scared to hold back. Also Taylor Swift the fact how she write songs about her life experiences.
  • MuzicNotez: What’s the ultimate goal you want your music to achieve, or for you to achieve in your career as a musician? Any particular message you wish to send?
    • Alicia G: I want my music to be fun, flirty and something that you don’t forget and love to sing along with. I want longevity and to grow with my fan base. I would tell all artist to keep following your dream until you reach your goal.
  • MuzicNotez: What’s the greatest concert you’ve ever been to or performed?
    • Alicia G: The greatest concert I ever performed that was when I was one of the opening acts for the Goo Goo dolls on the main stage that was a true highlights of my life!
  • MuzicNotez: You’re latest release is the music video for your single ‘Pretty Girl’, what was the filming process like?
    • Alicia G: The filming process for my music video for my song pretty girl was a ton of fun I enjoyed every single moment of it. The lights camera hair make up and all the fancy clothing I loved it all.

  • MuzicNotez: You started young learning an operatic style of singing at 13, how do you feel that helps you in your musical career today?
    • Alicia G: Starting so young singing opera at the age of 13 it has definitely helped my music career tremendously. It gave me great structure and obedience to train and focus on the music and bring out each emotional impact on each and every song I perform and sing.
  • MuzicNotez: You’re also a model and actress, how has that benefited your on stage performance?
    • Alicia G: Besides being a singer modeling and acting has definitely benefited me tremendously on stage for my performances. It has made me have great stage presence, feel comfortable on stage, I have a charm and charisma that lights up any stage and a smile that lights up the room!
  • MuzicNotez: What else are you working on? What can we expect to see and hear from you in the future?
    • Alicia G: I am working on two new songs that are fun and flirty I have very positive message in them that can relate to everyone along with that. I will also be coming out with the new music video which I’m very excited about!
  • MuzicNotez: Anything else you wish to say about yourself or your music? Any message for your fans?
    • Alicia G: The direction I see my music going in the years to come is all the way to the top the skies the limit. As and independent artist looking for that major collaboration in the future or just remain independent. During this time though continue recording new songs and making new music videos and building a strong fan base.
